Oracle Electra met with the community on Saturday for the weekly town meeting. The topic was general questions. The text below has been edited to filter out most comments not directly related to the questions at hand. Darcy: any reports back, when someone can do something?
Oracle Electra: no, I have gotten none <grin>
Darcy: well if they don't tell *you*... <g>
Oracle Electra: if anyone in the cloud has questions, please ESP one of the Acolytes and they will pass them on
Oracle Electra: I would like to say, that although I did get someone to link the March turf for me
Oracle Electra: we still cannot make keys for the bulldogs
Oracle Electra: when we are able to, and they are ready, there will be a noticed posted

Oracle Electra: Are the CT's still painting, and if so, how do we get paint now?
Oracle Electra: yes, we are
Oracle Electra: we had to change how we do it
Oracle Electra: you go to the Temple Street Turf: Paint Lab
Oracle Electra: if no one is there
Oracle Electra: you can ESP any CT or me to get them to meet you there
Oracle Electra: because of the change and because of starting late
Oracle Electra: we will paint for a longer time this month
Oracle Electra: you can get your cans done until next Friday...one more week

Oracle Electra: There are some in the works, but I don't know when they will be opened

Oracle Electra: No, that is not planned
Oracle Electra: head paints have to be tried on various heads
Oracle Electra: but you can always send paint codes for heads to Jal and Suz
Oracle Electra: they have gotten several already, and have some set to go in Vmart now
Oracle Electra: You once mentioned a newletter for DS, is that still in the works?
Oracle Electra: Yes, it is. I hope we get it going very soon now
Oracle Electra: we are working out the details, now <grin>

Oracle Electra: no, we won't
Oracle Electra: those are a VZC item
Oracle Electra: we will never have everything they have, and they will never have everything we have
Oracle Electra: Will we have paintable fox heads?
Oracle Electra: I would expect to see them again sometime, yes <grin>

Oracle Electra: How large can custom turfs be made? Will thre ever be more than 7 rooms?
Acolyte Spidey: be careful Tiggles. she might come thru the cloud
Oracle Electra: They can be larger, but no, we do not plan to have any larger than 7 rooms
Oracle Electra: Will Blasted Heath ever open?
Oracle Electra: Yes, it will.
Oracle Electra: However, I do not know when.

Oracle Electra: Will there be more Marvins?
Oracle Electra: Probably sometime, yes <grin>
Oracle Electra: Will there ever be real dogs, like the animated cats?
Oracle Electra: That I can't answer. I don't know if there is any art for dogs.
Oracle Electra: Are we getting any new art anytime soon?
Oracle Electra: None that I know about, but eventually we should I hope.
Oracle Electra: Will we be getting any Habitat heads?
Oracle Electra: I have been told we would, but no news on that yet
Oracle Electra: Will Blowfish head ever be brought out?
Oracle Electra: the Blowfish head is the prize in a currently running monthy game,
Oracle Electra: the fish hunt.
Oracle Electra: So no, they will not be put in a vendo anytime in the near future.
Oracle Electra: But if you do the fish hunt, you just might get lucky <grin>
Oracle Electra: Do you think we could get a Marvin to keep for ourselves?
Oracle Electra: If we have another Marvin, yes, someone will get to keep him <grin>

Oracle Electra: Will we have Oracle Dolls?
Oracle Electra: No, we don't think Oracle dolls would be appropriate.
Oracle Electra: And I don't want to feel all those pins stuck in me <G>

Oracle Electra: What about Mage Dolls?
Oracle Electra: No, for the same reason. And there is no art for Mage Dolls.
Oracle Electra: When will the shop doors open?
Oracle Electra: As soon as we are able to link them to the turfs.
Oracle Electra: I had someone come in special to link the turf, but that took only a few minutes
Oracle Electra: it will take more time and more coordination to do the shop doors,
Oracle Electra: so they need to wait until someone on staff here inworld can do them.
Oracle Electra: Hopefully, this will not be too much longer
Oracle Electra: but I can't give a definite time for them.
Oracle Electra: BTW, the March turf will stay until the end of April, since it was so late being added.
Oracle Electra: so you have lots of time to get one if you want one.

Oracle Electra: I assume you mean the preview?
Acolyte Spidey: yes
Oracle Electra: a router was out to my pages, but they got it fixed sometime last night
Darcy: does that mean, no April turf? <g>

Oracle Electra: this one will be March and April
Acolyte Spidey: dang.. there goes the April Delight Heart turf for Row <sigh>
Darcy: lol, hope you'll have that written somewhere <grin>
Oracle Electra: that will make it easier on some avies token supply <grin>

Oracle Electra: What happens during the typical day of an Oracle
Darcy: that should take her a while, eh? lol
Oracle Electra: It's hard to put typical with the words Oracle day
Oracle Electra: I read email and forums, of course
Oracle Electra: but each day is different
Oracle Electra: I spend time talking to staff, talking to members, working on paints this week <grin>
Oracle Electra: working on various prizes and stuff
Oracle Electra: each day is filled with lots of different things
Oracle Electra: and inbetween there somewhere, I manage to squeeze in my German lessons <grin>

Oracle Electra: Will there ever be a contest to design a new turf?
Oracle Electra: I hadn't thought about that, but it's an interesting idea. I will give it some thought and see how we could work it <grin>
Oracle Electra: What happened to Oracle Uni and Brother Echo, and why did they leave?
Oracle Electra: They went back to the mountains from where they came.
Oracle Electra: I am afraid I can't answer the reason why, other than perhaps they were homesick?
Oracle Electra: Why don't Caretakers get cool clothers, like a robe?
Caretaker gloree: lol
Oracle Electra: Because of the nature of Dreamscape, the mythhology, Robes are reserved for certain people,
Oracle Electra: Like Oracles and Mages.
Oracle Electra: Are there any plans to enhance the WA client in the future?
Oracle Electra: I think Michael has mentioned before that yes, they are working on the client
Oracle Electra: What kinds of enhancements might be in the works, I don't know.
Darcy: one would hope they aren't only working on the server <g>
Oracle Electra: Have I missed any of your questions?
Oracle Electra: There is still a few minutes if anyone has any other questions <grin>
Oracle Electra: Once more I'd like to mention
Oracle Electra: although I did get the turf linked up, we still cannot make the keys for the bulldogs yet
